Summery

3.1d Update has fixed a bunch of BUGs and added many brand new features.

Text Fixing

Character & Skill Modifications

Strength no longer lowers stamina drain.

Amazon

Spear and Javelin Skills

Impale: Fixed a bug that causing its damage too low when converted to Cold.

Sorceress

Lightning Spells

Nova: Overlay switched with Assassin's 'Claws of Thunder' Nova.

Necromancer

Summon Spells

Raise Skeleton Mage: Poison type's DPS increased to be almost same as others.

Fire Golem: Explosive attack chance increased.

Paladin

Combat Skills

Blessed Hammer: Can't be stopped by walls or other barrages anymore.

Holy Shield: Extra defense vs missiles added.

When Paladin Turns Dervish

Barbarian

Combat Skills

Concentrate: Splash damage increased to 1/3 weapon damage.

Frenzy: Damage percent bonus increased by 1/3.

Combat Masteries

Iron Skin: No longer grants defense vs missiles.

Natural Resistance: Grants 5% all max resistance.

War Cries

Shout: No longer grants defense vs missiles.

Assassin

Shadow Disciplines

Shadow Pets' attack swings or skill casting sounds returned.

Martial Arts

Claws of Thunder: Nova overlay Switched with Sorceress Nova.

Other Skills

CTC Bone Spear: When triggered on Strike, starting position changed from target to yourself.

Hirelings Modifications

Rogue Scout

Holy Arrow can't pierce anymore and has no damage bonus vs common monsters, this would also reasonably lower its damage vs Undead or Demons.

Desert Mercenary

Aura Types added Half-Valued 'Iron Skin' skill to make them more solid.

Iron Wolf

Only when get melee hit he would cast 'Warping'.

Zakarum Priest

A Highlight of version 3.1d! Thanks to a BaseMod feature, Act 4 merc from Tyrael is now possible. You can hire a brand new type of merc 'Zakarum Priest' at Tyrael in Act 4, they are very good assistants. A Zakarum Priest would use 'Zakarum Heal' to heal the player and himself, 'Zakarum Cleansing' to Remove poison or curses from all team members. They attack with 'Zakarum Lightning', 'Zakarum Blizzard' and 'Fist of the Heavens'.

Unlike monster version, their Zakarum Lightning inherits all damage sources on them, can trigger effects or CTCs.

Zakarum Priests can only equip 'Priest Gloves' as weapons, you must convert a pair of common Gloves with the Cube to equip them.

They can only use 'Soul' as the offhand item right now, but in later updates there'll be something amazing, not only for them~

They're counted as Zakarumites, so Equipped Offensive Auras on them would be full value to all team members.

They're counted as Male Creatures, so potions for male mercs work with them.

Zakarum Priests CAN'T block!

Barbarian

Sword faction can use 'Soul' as fringe in offhand now.

Axe faction's 'Frenzy' skill would be using vanilla damage bonus value.

Monster Modifications

Specific Monster Modifications

Frozen Abyss: Would have a chance to Freeze Target.

Newly Added Monster Classes

  1. Guest Brute: Can throw rocks in range and added 'Bash' to deal stun attack.
  2. Guest Wailing Beast: More aggressive, can run when approaching.
  3. Guest Drifter: Can throw snowballs in range and deals splash damage.

Monster Skill Modifications

  1. Diablo's Bone Prison: Now counted as 3rd party monsters, so enemy monsters no longer attack them without damage.
  2. Monster Frenzy: All changed to double hits.

Super Unique Monsters

Act 1

  1. Treehead Woodfist: Charge and Bash ability added, more dangerous.
  2. Drakon Nyktos: Fixed the BUG that its level being too high in Normal Difficulty.

Act 5

  1. Eyeback the Unleashed: Reasonably improved dropping quality.
  2. Banished Soul: Moved to the middle of the map.
  3. Malah's Son: (extra fast) Added in version 3.1d, an Uncleaned Archer Boss guarding the gold chest of Drifter Cavern. He would attack you with many deadly archery skills, scares your minions with 'Howl' and self-enhancing with 'Rage'. He has excellent dropping quality and has a chance to drop Barbarian Helmets.
  1. Nihlathak: 'multiple shots' added, Greatly improved dropping quality and lower his ridiculous high level in Normal Difficulty, but much more powerful. Now his attack speed can't be reduced by any method, and his Arctic Blast can deal much more damage, also, Suicide Bone Spirits he created can blast 10% of your current HP besides their base damage. Due to the newest New Canon lore of Diablo 4, he would also have a chance to drop Polearms.
  2. Frozenstein: Can throw snowballs in range and added 'Charge' ability, freeze targets more frequently.
  3. Axe Dweller: Reasonably improved dropping quality.
  4. Skulltred: Reasonably improved dropping quality.
  5. Ancients: Greatly lower their dropping quality.

Boss Modifications

Baal Throne: Can deal corpse explosion correctly now, client side overly displayed, but hurts everything, damage increased from 1% player HP to 1% corpse HP.

Newly Added Item Types

Offhand Axe Series

Converting accepts Throwing Axes now, but those converted from them can't have sockets.

Priest Gloves

Newly added item type in version 3.1d, used for Zakarum Priest Mercs' Weapons. They can't be dropped or purchased, can only acquire by converting a pair of common gloves with a piece of any gem with the cube. They're counted as weapons, but the base damage being too low to be equipped by players.

Unique Item Modifications

Vanilla Unique Polearms

Stormspire: Greatly Increased CTC skills' chances, Level 3-5 'Storm Elemental' added, summons a lightning elemental creature to assist you in battle. It's damage would be scaling with character level, can cast 'Charged Bolt', 'Lightning', 'Chain Lightning' and 'Nova' logic spells, bursts triple nova on death. What you acquired before this update must be refreshed with 'Token of Uniques'.

New Unique Torso Armors

  1. Dust Storm: Greatly enhanced the 'Catgirl', her Damage, IQ, Attack and Block Speed are massively increased, if summoned by Amazons, her damage would be massively increased further.
  2. Hellwarden's Husk: Equipped 'Iron Maiden' Aura switched to an oskill 'Fallen Angel Husk' that summons an Izual's fellowman to assist you in battle. They're counted as High Minions, looks similar to Izual but with grey color instead of gold, very solid, fight with extra cold damage in melee and can cast 'Frost Nova', 'Chilling Armor'. What you acquired before this update must be refreshed with 'Token of Uniques'.

New Unique Charms

Immunity Breaker: Resist penalty system same as D2R now, variable penalty values are shown on the charm, no longer randomly changes through gameplay. What you acquired before this update must be refreshed with 'Token of Uniques'.

Super Unique Items

Bul-Kathos' Warden: Only Barbarian summoned Ancestor can use combat skills, for other classes he would only deal common attacks.

Vanilla Universal Sets

Cow King's Leathers

Fixed a BUG that causing Baal couldn't spit minions at the throne if you summoned Cow Spirits there, and you won't fail to summon them anymore.

Rune Words Modifications

D2R Rune Words

  1. Authority: 'Miasma Chain' has better appearance.
  1. Void: 'Abyss' has better appearance and readjusted some values for balancing.

Cube Formula Modifications

Vanilla Item Refreshing Formulas Remaking

  1. Refreshing a Lower Level Rare Item Changed to: Any Rare item + 1 Perfect Skull + any Charm
  2. Refreshing a Higher Level Rare Item Changed to: Any Rare item + 2 Perfect Skull + any Charm

Dropping, Area and NPC Modifications

Droppings

  1. Fixed a BUG that causing 'Token of Uniques' and 'Token of Sets' could only be dropped from Blacksmith Monsters.
  2. Reasonably lower the dropping chance of 'Rogue's Bow'.

Area and NPC

Moo Moo Farm: Would no longer have Corrupt Events.
