MOD_T.D.E. 3.1b Update Log

Summery

Version 3.1b fixed some BUGs and added some remarkable new features.

Since version 3.1b, MOD_T.D.E. would offer a NOOB version, very easy to use, and removed the useless PlugY d2gfx patch from the MOD Pack.

Text Fixing

  1. Fixed some text string mistakes.
  2. Added some 'Code' Comment Fixing to Scarab Series.

Spear and Javelin Skills

Lightning Bolt: Fixed the bug that shows wrong elemental conversion value.

Sorceress

Fire Spells

Meteor: Ground fire radius is same as explosive

Necromancer

Summon Spells

Iron Golem: Can't be Unsummoned anymore.

Fire Golem: Fixed a bug that shows inaccurate fire damage value.

Paladin

Combat Skills

Holy Shield: When equipping a shield, would inherit your current average physical damage, only Shield, NO Fringe.

When Paladin Turns Dervish

All Dervish Skills requires 2 Fist Weapons equipped to cast.

Barbarian

Walking speed increased back to vanilla.

Hirelings Modifications

Can't be fired by 'Unsummon' anymore.

Rogue Scout

Bow Mastery skill added for ALL factions, similar to Barbarian Weapon Mastery skills.

Monster Modifications

Overall

Guest Monsters no longer spawned as common ones in Areas lower than level 85 of Act 1, 2 and 3, but Champion or Unique versions are still them.

Specific Monster Modifications

  1. Scarab Series: Lower chance to release Charge Bolt Nova on get hit.
  2. Green Blood Monsters: Lower chance to bleed on get hit.
  3. Non-Guest Zakarumites: AI switched back to vanilla, which means would run away after Trivincal Quest Completed.

Newly Added Monster Classes

Mad Druid Shapeshifters: Common ones would also spawn in 'Great Marsh' and no longer neutral, just enemies, such change would make you easier to acquire Druid Pelts.

Skeleton Demons: Winged, powerful undead demons, leading a skeleton pack, can cast evil spells to attack you and heal or revive undead creatures nearby, spawned in 'Mausoleum'.

Super Unique Monsters

Poison Enchanted ones had their client-side poison gas fulfilled, now the missiles are no longer invisible so you can see them.

Act 1

Bound Spirit: Moved to Forgotten Tower Level 5, this would fix the BUG that it also appears in 'Matron's Den'.

Item prices are reasonably higher.

Unique Item Modifications

New Unique Staves

Rod of Onan: 'Archon Staff', 1-2 All skills, 15-25 All stats, 200-300% Damage, 50 Charges of level 20 'Clay Golem', +1 to 'Onan's Seeds', +1 to 'Earth's Lover', and Extra Archon Stave bonuses for BOTH Melee and Caster versions.

Onan's Seeds: You can summon 5 Clay Golems now.

Earth's Lover: Clay Golem has extra damage bonus per level, and no longer needs other Golem skills' synergies, but Golem Mastery is still needed.

New Unique Torso Armors

Ashrera's Wired Frame: Caster Iron Wolves has FCR bonus by skill and character level, Melee Iron Wolf's 'Charge' switched to 'Dragon Flight'.

New Unique Charms

Immunity Breaker: 'Grand Charm', Randomly breaks one type of monster immunity and lowers the matched resistance of you and your team. Almost same as D2R, but can only equip one piece. Technically, I can make ALL 6 types of them separately but would cost more than 12 most precious state table rows, it's a great waste that I can't afford.

Super Unique Items

Akarat's Straw Hat: Equipped 'Healing Field' Aura switched to 'Splash Whirlwind', when equipped, your Whirlwind logic skills would have extra splash damage, including 'Shape of Dervish'. For those acquired before updating, you must Refresh it with 'Token of Uniques'.

Sightless Eye: Attack speed bonus reasonably increased.

Rune Words Modifications

Vanilla Rune Words

  1. Chaos: 'Whirlwind' Replaced by 'Chaos Whirlwind', an Assassin only whirlwind logic skill, unlike Barbarian version, it would randomly revenge ranged attackers with 'Charged Bolt Nova' or 'Frozen Orb Explosion'. For those built before updating, you must Rebuild it.
  • Stone: Staff Charged 'Clay Golem' can co-exist with original Golems.

D2R Rune Words

Cure: 'Shael, Io, Tal' on 3 Socket Helmets, +5% HP, 75-100% Defense, 10-30% Poison Resist, -50% Poison Length, Level 1 'Cleansing' Aura when Equipped, along with Stats on Runes.

Cube Formula Modifications

New Superior, Unique or Set Item Refreshing Formulas

Superior Item Refreshing Formula's 3 Unique Jewelries changed back to version 3.0's 'Stone of Jordan'.

Dropping, Area and NPC Modifications

Area and NPC

  1. Tamoe Highland: Level changed back to vanilla's 69.
  2. Easy level 85 Areas: Some level 85 Areas in Act 1, 2 and 3, mostly Quest related, are counted as 'Greenhand Friendly' ones, Guest Monsters there would spawn only one type as common monsters, but All Champion or Unique ones are still them~

Act 1: Crypt, Underground Passage Level 1, Forgotten Tower, Cathedral.

Act 2: Halls of the Dead, Maggot Lair, Claw Viper Temple, Secret Sanctuary, Tal-Rasha's Tombs.

Act 3: Spider Cavern, Great Marsh, Flayer Dungeon, Sewers, Durance of Hate.

  1. Level 90 Areas: Mausoleum added.
  2. Druid Madhouse: Monster density increased.
